This vintage mid-century Kenart English Pointer dog brooch is an exceptionally fine piece of canine-themed British novelty jewellery, expertly cast in solid sterling silver and finished with a striking, hand-painted cold enamel glaze. Sculpted in the breed's classic athletic, alert standing posture, the front features a smooth, glossy coat of bright white enamel accented with highly detailed liver-brown patches across the ears, flank, and back. The reverse side provides definitive collectors' provenance, bearing the crisp stamped hallmark cartouche for "KENART", alongside "MADE IN ENGLAND", the metal purity mark "SILVER", and the official design registration number "REGD NO 534187" which dates the design mould back to the early 20th century.
