Description
A fabulous Victorian cut glass preserve jar in the Gothic taste. The body is of good quality glass, cut with arches and slice cut panels and the base has a multipoint star. The silver lid is of superior quality hallmarked silver and in the Rococo taste, with flowers, leaves and a flame terminal. Supplied with a Victorian silver preserve spoon, this is a splendid usable example and a lovely gift idea.

Excellent with no dents or splits to the silver. The glass is in very good condition, with no serious chips. There are a few fleabites to the 'arches', commensurate with age and use.
