Praeparatio Ad MISSAM Et Gratiarum Actio Post IPSAM Quibus Accedunt Nonnullae Piae Orationes TAM Ante, QUAM Post Dicendae Published Rome 1759 Hardback bound in an 18th century full leather binding with both boards gilt decorated with initials of G.B to both boards, decorated endpapers with the bookplate of lord elton to inner front board, latin text. The book measures approx 6 x 3.5 inches with 12 + 492 pages An uncommon early book bound in an excellent EXAMPLE of an early leather binding.

Minor rubbing to leather on edges of spine & boards, front hinge is sprung with front board not laying flat, cover are stiff on opening, a number of pages have some staining, browning or foxing, page are uneven to page fore-edges, inscription to front endpaper. Overall some faults internally but still a very good copy with boards well attached.
