Fine George II Silver Mote Spoon Jeremiah Lee c.1730 Georgian

A lovely early Georgian silver mote spoon, with nice quality hand pierced detail of a more unusual pattern of scrolled foliate shapes rather than the common scroll and crosslets type arrangement. It has a small applied point to the end of the stem handle for clearing out clogged teapot strainers. Lion passant mark to the handle and maker's initials for Jeremiah Lee, c.1728-1732. The initials RA are also engraved to the bottom of the heel, which was likely the original owner's initials although rather crudely executed.
