Description
A stylish Georgian silver drum shaped mustard pot with a gadrooned style rim and hinged cover with lovely cast scallop shell thumb catch. The shaped handle with incurved thumb rest and decorative lower spur. Fitted with a blue lass liner. Hallmarked for London 1828, maker Charles Fox II and partial marks inside the cover. A small family crest of a bird to the cover.

It measures 5cm (1 15/16") high to the top of the pot, 6.3cm (2 1/2") including the thumb catch and 6.8cm (2 5/8") wide (excluding the handle). It weighs 166g in total (silver weight 95g / 3.0 ozt).
