Description
A fine George III silver pedestal milk jug with attractive shaped rim and ornate double scrolled handle with cast acanthus leaf detail to the thumb rest. An all over lightly hammered finish and set on a multi stepped domed foot. Hallmarked for London 1784, maker John Lambe. The original owner initials are engraved to the underside of the foot "S B M".
