Description
Victorian coromandel jewellery box, the top with a decorative brass shield shaped cartouche with swag, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.
The box opens to reveal the original fitted interior which has been re-lined in a bottle green silk velvet, the inside of the lid further embellished with gold thread embroidery.
To the left of the box a brass button releases the spring-loaded side drawer and to the back another button releases the front drawer.
The box has been cleaned and French polished and is in excellent condition.
With working lock & tasselled key.
