This is a fine example of a Victorian cast brass double inkstand with integral pen rest to the front. It stands on ball feet, a Classic plain design. Very well cast, finished and detailed. The inkwells with pottery ink liners, By the sought-after manufacturer William Tonks & Sons. Circa 1890-1900 The base marked with the Sunburst logo and W.T&S for W Tonks & Sons.
