Description
A stunning 18th century Worcester porcelain fluted junket dish decorated with a blue scale ground with ornate gilt framed reserves finely painted with European flowers in bright enamels. Lots of detailed rococo gilt decoration across the blue ground with trailing flowers between the reserves. Blue square mark to the base, c.1770. Provenance: Stoner & Evans.

The Fancy Fox has clarified that the First Period Worcester Porcelain Blue Scale Junket Dish c.1770 (LA370443) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1770
condition
Condition is very good: there is a tiny, inconspicuous glaze chip at the rim and two small foot rim chips. There is a firing hairline running a short way around the bowl which has been disguised to the front with the enamel decoration and one tiny underglaze chip. No repairs or restoration and very minor handling wear.
