Description
Large Worcester porcelain press moulded junket dish with shaped rim and scallop shell and floral decoration. Painted with decoration of various exotic flowers in the uncommon Junket Dish Florals pattern. Further floral sprays are painted to the underside of the rim and a cell border runs in sections around the rim. Open crescent mark to the base, c.1760.

It measures 24.5cm (9 5/8") wide and 7.3cm (2 7/8") high.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and very minor handling wear. There is a short firing line at the rim from manufacture.
