Description
This is a framed antique advertisement. An English, advertising poster for Carbosil soap, dating to the Victorian period. Appealing period retail advertising. Displays a desirable aged patina. Professionally framed behind glass and finished with hanging rope to reverse. Original lithograph shows coveted light ageing.
Presented against an attractive dark emerald ground. The centre a montage of a woman reading a newspaper whilst sat upon a box of Carbosil. The name of the product and the slogan 'The New Soda' act as a header and footer. The contemporary price of 1d and secondary slogan 'Always in front of time' to either side.
This is a charming antique advertisement poster, with desirable ageing. Delivered polished and ready for the home.
