Frank Henry Mason Watercolour ‘Scarborough’

Frank Henry Mason Rba Ri (1876-1965). Painter etcher, illustrator and poster painter. Born in Seaton Carew County Durham. A founder member of the Staithes Art Club whose members today are known as the Staithes Group of Artists or Northern Impressionists and author of several books about the art of watercolour. Exhibited Ra,Rba,Rsma,Ri and elsewhere. In 1973 an exhibition of his work was held at the National Maritime Museum. Lived in Scarborough and London. ‘Scarborough’ signed watercolour. Image size 23x60cms, framed size 48x85cms. Housed in original swept gilt frame.
