French Decorative Toleware 5 Branch Chandelier with Painted Porcelain Flowers French circa 1950s Toleware and Painted Porcelain Decorative toleware 5 branch ‘birdcage’ form chandelier Scrolling leaf form canopy with profusion of painted flowers Sectional leaf bobèche drip pans and matching original ceiling rose All original parts All original condition with some oxidation present Vintage Condition and full of charm and character Not currently wired but can be fully re-wired and PAT Tested H: 58cm (22.8")    Di: 46cm (18.1") This is a really lovely, decorative French toleware and porcelain five branch ‘birdcage’ form chandelier dating from the 1950s.  It is in all original condition, including the chain and ceiling rose, which adds to its character and charm.  The ‘birdcage’ form issues a profusion scrolling leaf form canopy and painted porcelain flowers.   The sectional bobèche drip pans and matching ceiling rose are indicative of the quality of the design and care with which it has been created. It is in good Vintage Condition, there is some evidence of oxidation present but everything simply adds to the charm, character and originality of this lovely item.   It is not currently wired but can be fully re-wired and PAT Tested upon request and for an additional charge.
