French Empire Antique Chandelier c.1860

A wonderful three light good quality 19th Century gilt ormolu French Empire style chandelier. Having three foliate linked chains supporting the three branch chandelier, with two cherubs each holding scrolling gilt brass arms. Three pan figures adorn the bottom bowl which has an ebony colour with silver patterns. The chandelier is finished off with a lovely acorn finial and with a super patina and presence this wonderful chandelier would look good in any interior space. Originally for candles but now converted to electric. Restored, wired, PAT tested and ready to hang. H70cm x W40cm, this is the height of the chandelier only without the chain and ceiling rose which comes with the chandelier and can be adjusted to individual requirements.... alternatively the chandelier can be hung straight to the ceiling.
