Antique French Louis XVI Style Curved Bed Frame Offering for sale this exquisite late 19th century Louis XVI style bed frame including matching bedside cabinets and slatted base. The headboard and footboard are curved design (full corbeille) and raised on six carved legs. The frame is in original green paint with gilt highlights, beautifully carved floral basket of flowers including swags and bow detail to the headboard, footboard and bedsides. The oval-shaped bedside cabinets have upholstered tops with safety glass and upholstered sides. Condition report : Newly reupholstered bed and bedsides so in immaculate condition. The cane is in good condition. The wooden frame has aged timeworn patina so showing chipped paint, scratches and old indentations. This is a very rare bed and very hard to find these days so if your looking for something very special this bed is an investment.
