My wife and I have been in the Antiques trade for over 28 years initially in Scotland and for the past few years the Cotswolds. We began trading at fairs as far afield as Edingburgh, Swinderby, Kempton, Ardingly and Detling to name but a few.
For many years from its inception in 1998 until 2018 successfully trading at The Scottish Antique Centre Doune ,selling a broad range of stock with a particular passion for Arts and Crafts furniture and metalware.
Over the years whilst travelling hundreds of thousands of miles in the UK we have gained great experience and a thorough knowledge of the antiques trade.

Description
A charming antique Georgian needlework sampler was created circa 1754 by Elizabeth Day at the age of 10. The piece features a design that includes a house, birds, foliage, trees of life, plants, and a verse. It is crafted from cotton and represents the 18th-century British textile tradition. The sampler is categorized under miscellaneous needlework and sewing.
Set inside a later wood and glass frame and presented in good antique condition for its age with lots of details having some minor period losses (see image 12).
