George III antique Scottish silver goblet, Edinburgh 1813 by Patrick Robertson

An amazing George III antique Scottish silver goblet with a great history. Made in Edinburgh in 1813 by Patrick Robertson. The goblet has initials in a cartouch for Robert Backie who lived in Tankerness House in Orkney, the family home. He was a politician and an MP for Orkney and Shetland. Tankerness House is now the home of Orkney Museum. This goblet has the family crest and a crisp set of hallmarks underneath. It is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
