Superb 18th-century English mahogany chest of drawers George III period with brushing slide above serving as a writing surface. Very good quality chest of drawers made with a beautiful flamed mahogany. Commodes with brushing slide are among the oldest and a hallmark of this 18th-century piece. The uprights are decorated with fluting. Sitting on shaped bracket feet with a brushing slide above. The drawer interiors are in oak, a sign of quality. Superb patina and is in perfect condition.
