George V Small Silver Ring / Trinket Box

A lovely novelty silver ring box, shaped as a miniature trinket box. This charming example is of oval form, with three pad feet and a hinged lid. Unusually, the base is also silver, denoting an item of quality. The box would fit two small rings or one larger example (as shown - ring not included). The interior has the original silk base and sides. The intside of the lid is gilded. A wonderful gift idea, being both practical and decorative.
