Description
This is a George the IV scaled down antique Pembroke table. Made from mahogany and has a dummy leaf to one side and an unusual click mechanism that releases the other leaf to drop down and reveal a storage area inside. This piece was re-polished around sixty years ago and has since collected a few ink marks to the top. Usually we would re-polish it but on this occasion the marks give a little character to the piece and adds to its appeal.
Overall a beautiful piece of Georgian mahogany that would look excellent beside a sofa.
