German 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger

This Luftwaffe dagger was most likely made during the mass order time for these daggers to equip the multitude of new German pilots trained after the war began. The mounts and scabbard on this piece are of all WKC production. The pommel is the style with pebbling between the swastikas and the oak leaves, and is a gray colour. It shows little to no wear. The cross guard also is in mint condition and has fine detail to the Luftwaffe's head, feathering and grasped swastika. The gray plating remains throughout the pommel, to include the pebbling on the rear panel. The upper guards have the cast-in leaves indicative of WKC production. The grip is a white example, as were most of these grips that were produced in this era. The grip remains in perfect condition having tight springy aluminium wire.
