Description
This is a beautiful hand woven Veramin carpet dating from around 1930. The carpet has a well drawn and interesting design and a rich colour palette.
The indigo lattice field of palmettes and vines features stylised flower heads and golden pheasant birds. It is framed by soft terracotta borders with more flowerheads and birds, flanked by rosette guard stripes.
This is in excellent ready to use condition and looks stunning down.
It measures 210cm by 146cm.
