Description
This is an imposing carved solid oak armchair in Aesthetic/Gothic style dating from around 1880. The substantial armchair has an ornately carved frame and attractively turned legs on ceramic castors. This comfortable chair has a deep buttoned back and is beautifully upholstered in a Colefax and Fowler fabric, 'Perseus'. The very heavy frame is solid with no movement to the joints and the chair is in excellent condition overall.
