Good Quality Heavy Victorian Gilt Framed Mirror

This is a good quality 19th century gilt mirror in excellent clean condition dating from around 1890. The heavy solid wood cushion frame has attractive gilt gesso moulding with Laurel leaf detailing and acanthus leaf to the corners. The mirror retains its original gilding with has a lovely colour and antique patina. The good quality bevelled glass is the original plate in nice clean condition. The mirror is a good size measuring 103cm by 78cm by deep and could be hung either way up so would be a very smart Overmantel.
