Good Victorian Inlaid Sewing / Jewellery Box

This is a good quality late 19th Century (c.1890) Victorian antique sewing / jewellery box, the top inlaid with white metal and shell floral motifs, the canted edges with further inlays. With vacant cartouche. The box opens to reveal the original fitted interior, the lift-out tray revealing a further storage area beneath. The lid retains its original smocked silk lining with inset oval mirror, both in good order.
