Wonderfully quirky and beautiful glass inkwell with hinged brass collar, in the form of stacked glass bubbles with a lovely iridescent finish, made by acclaimed Bohemian glassmaker Harrach in the later part of the 19th Century.
A special inkwell with the most wonderful iridescence that really comes though under certain light condition, what a marvellous addition to any glass collection or, as an ornament for your desk, just can't fail to impress.
Good antique condition with signs of age and wear, hinge has a little play but operates well and is intact, glass has no chips nor any cracks however showing light surface wear commensurate with its age, please refer to photos provided.
