Billy Hunt is located on a large Victorian farm just a short country drive from the Rangemore village, a designated conservation area, which was built by Michael Thomas Bass in the 1850s to house the Bass Rangemore Estate workers consisting mainly of Victorian redbrick cottages and the occasional barn.
Our home is a classic Victorian designed and well equipped late 19th century 2 story red brick built barn of some 4000 sq feet nestled in classic English countryside, which enjoyed a careful full renovation in 2000. The estate still benefits being managed in the traditional manner with an Estate Manger, estate carpenter, gardeners etc. A rather delightful place to have as our work space.
Martina, there is no Billy at Billy hunt, has led the team since 2103 and is an interior designer qualified from The Inchbald School of Design London whose previous working life included such clients as Vertu, Aston Martin and Johnnie Walker to name a few.
We always endeavor to offer a careful selection of chosen pieces from the British Isles ranging from 1800 to 1990 with makers such as Heal’s, Gillows, Pieff, Howard, Younger, Gomme, Archie Shine to name a few. Worth remembering, we are a business and as such we purchase what our clients desire alongside what we enjoy. Our pieces are usually ready for placing, with the option of professional reupholstery on seating if you desire - please see our upholstery page. We prefer to keep our pricing intelligent, knowledgeable, current and sensible, so no silly over inflated price tags to give you mouth watering discounts like some in our field seem to prefer…
Our extensive client base covers the celebrated, international clients, interior designers, film companies and ladies and gentlemen like us who enjoy our professional, skilled, friendly and knowledgeable approach.

Description
A super oak sideboard from Heal’s of London with the maker's button to the top right hand drawer. This one from Heal’s is of good scale and of the quality you would expect from Heal’s with careful choosing of timber and spot on design wise.
A lot to admire with this one - the tone of the oak is just lovely, the rounded chamfered vertically moulded columns to the front corners and legs are super, the little oak knobs a delight, the well shaped low back plinth to the top is just perfect - to be honest a great piece from Heal’s. The set up has 3 drawers running across the top below which there are 3 cupboard doors hiding two spaces with removable recessed shelves. We have a working lock and key for the middle drawer and also one for the left hand side single cupboard. The piece is neat and ready for pacing with no faults, just a little sensible aging.
A handsome piece from Heal’s of London c1930.
