A charming coloured etching of fishermen rowing out to their boats. The soft colours are very attractive. Henry Walker (1876-1932) was born in Birmingham and attended the local Municipal Art School. He was active as an etcher from 1921. He concentrated on architectural and topographical subjects. Many were of views in the South West such as Tenby in Wales and Brixham in Devon with their harbours and fishing vessels. Walker moved to Devon in 1929. Signed in pencil lower right and also signed HGW on the plate.
