Hindu Gilt Bronze Buddha Jnana Dakini

A gilt bronze figure of the Buddhist Deity Jnana Dakini, from Tibet, late 19th Century. Expressively cast with the six-armed, three-headed deity brandishing a sword in her uppermost hand with the remaining hands radiating around her holding various attributes, seated atop a lion crouching on a lotus base with gaping mouth and upturned tail, the figure is inset with small turquoise and coral beads and richly detailed. This is an attractive and collectable piece, in great condition, the bright gilding to the bronze figure nicely rubbed in places.
