Imposing Austrian Maplewood Clock

This really is an impressive clock. It was made in Austria during the Biedermeirer period (1815-1848). the large, simple dial, is set in the maplewood architectural case on which there are classical brass mounts. The top is mounted on a mirrorbacked portico with alabaster columns. The movement, which is original, needs some professional attention: the springs in each of the 3 barrels are ok but only the going train works moving the hands and telling the time. The pendulum is suspended by silk. WARNING This clock is not really suitable for someone that is not exp;erienced in setting up and maintaining antique clocks. NB.
