A beautiful bed with lovely shaping and fabulously detailed castings and clamps – do see all photos. The panel has a lovely central casting configuration connected by iron reed strip. A very nicely proportioned bed indeed. No end beds are a fabulous choice for all rooms, particularly smaller rooms or indeed rooms with a view! Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in a Little Greene’s Rolling Fog Pale and Lute, dark waxed over to protect, tone, and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply platform and sprung bed bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with our Bordeaux mattresses. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices, and also with zip and link connections.
