A beautiful Indian rosewood in great original condition giving off a lighter grain to the wood normally found in more commonly used rosewoods. Around the edging it’s bounded in boxwood. The interior comprises of the two original lids made from a darker rosewood and inlaid in boxwood. A lovely collectors example dating to Victorian 1850 and comes with fully functioning lock and key.
