Description
Early Victorian inlaid rosewood jewellery – table box in very good condition. The veneer boasts the all important unspoilt patina, the colour of the veneer on this particular example is considered to be one of the most difficult to replicate. Intricate Mother of Pearl inlays to the top and front. All inlays and veneer are original and complete. Top closes perfectly square. Original brass ‘stop’ hinges and lock in very good condition with a replacement working key supplied. The interior has been neatly relined with damask material, all in excellent condition with no stains or tears. Unpacked weight 0.8Kg
