Ivory GPO 1232 on Bell Set No26 1957

This is a beautiful example. It has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. The pictures are with the genuine bell set however the reproduction will look identical other than possibly a very slight colour difference. This telephone retains its original GPO No12 dial with alpha numeric face. It is fitted with a very best all British manufactured hand plaited braided handset cord and a GPO specification round plastic ivory 3 meter line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket. I have also fitted an electronic microphone to bring the sound quality up to modern standards. This telephone came in fitted with this bell set and nothing has been repaired or changed. The handset and base are both marked 1957. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
