Description
A soft and rather lovely view of Canaervon Castle by James Orrock RI, (1829-1913). Orrock was a Scottish art collector, also interested in oriental ceramics and became a distinguished illustrator and landscape watercolourist, despite having started life as a dentist! He exhibited at Royal Academy and Royal Scottish Academy and became as associate of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours RI) in 1871.
