Description
For sale is this attractive Japanese late Meiji Period copper tea caddy. I would estimate it was made between 1890 and 1910. It is hand-hammered copper throughout and the lid has a gold plated chrysanthemum finial. The caddy is about 14 centimeters tall and weighs about 299 grams. The condition is good with a couple of shallow dents on the body, otherwise minor wear and tear from handling over time. Shipping will be free within the UK.
