Description
A late 19th Century (c.1890) Victorian antique ladies Orkney chair, the oak and pine frame with classic Kirkness style back with the top rail finishing in marram grass, the simple shaped arms supported on rectangular uprights, the drop-in marram grass seat (recently replaced using traditional methods). The chair rests on four square tapering legs with all braced by conforming stretchers, with great colour and character and in excellent condition.
