Description

This is a beautiful Lalique Nogent Compote in clear and frosted glass, fully signed to the base in script, "Lalique France". A clear glass bowl with crimped detail to the rim, mounted upon a base of four frosted glass sparrows on a flared circular foot. Designed by Marc Lalique in 1966, this small bowl has become a Lalique classic. The satin finish on the birds contrasts with the transparency of the bowl while the purity of crystal echoes the glare of clear luster.
