Large Antique Nottingham Style Fishing Reel

A very handsome and well made antique c1900s Fishing reel. A large fishing reel, it is made from rich walnut with wood with a large sturdy brass seat, brass and ebony handles and brass and steel fittings. It is an unmarked reel, English make c.1900s, there is a paper label on the front but some of this is worn away. Some line remains on the reel and we have left this on. Attractive as a display piece or as a gift for the fishing enthusiast.
