The mirror consists of 12 individual mirrored pieces, eight are silver mirror pieces and four coloured mirrored pieces. Seven of the silver pieces are cut in a tapering design with a rounded top giving the impression of hight, a typical period design. The top edge has a deep bevelled edge which catches the light beautifully, as do the smaller bevelled edges along each piece.
The four coloured pieces comprise two light copper mirrored pieces and two green mirrored pieces. Each of these is tapered and has a bevelled edge all round. These pieces end in a pointed design representing striking sunbeams, 1930s period as its best.
There is a round Mirror plate at the centre of the bottom of the 11 pieces which pulls all the pieces together, it has a deep bevelled edge with two facet cut cap screws holding it in place.
This mirror is in good condition with no chips nibbles or deep scratches, there are some age related marks and a little missing however these are negligible once the mirror is hung (see pics)
All 12 pieces are mounted on a wooden backboard, 11 of these pieces are attached with traditional metal clips and the 12th piece the facet cut capped screws. There are two Chains on the rear ready to hang the mirror on a wall.
