Description
Large Bohemian cobalt blue glass decanter for the Islamic market. Decorated in gold and white garniture with three pictorial panels showing a Ottoman figure. This is thought to be a portrait of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar the shah of Iran in the late 19th centaury. The decanter would have originally had a pointed stopper.
