Large Decorative Gents’ of Leicester Clock Metre Diameter

A wonderful large clock face from around 1920, ideal either for an external wall or an interior project, this is no longer functional and has some weathered corrosion, but it will look great as a statement piece. Gents' of Leicester was established in the late 19th century by John Thomas Gent and became a well-known manufacturer of electrical equipment, with the industrial clocks in particular being highly sought after today for decorative projects. - Over a metre in diameter. - Black painted rim, with green weathering. - Roman numerals on a weathered white face, with Gents' of Leicester at the bottom. - Attractively shaped hands. - 3 mounting brackets. This is a weathered clock which is not functional and has corroded at the bottom of the frame rim, but it is sturdy at the top and the surviving mounting brackets will hold well.
