Large Georgian Facet Cut Glass Goblet C1780

Technical Description A large Georgian facet cut glass goblet dating to c1780. A band of printies around the large round funnel bowl with thin vesica cutting below. The thick stem is slice cut at the top with a large central slice cut swelling knop. Below the knop the cutting changes to prism cuts and then diamonds onto the top of the conical foot. A fine large glass with some of the best cutting we have seen in some time. Date & Origin England, c1780.
