Large Old Rustic Pine Box 1920s

Large antique pine carpenter's box, blanket chest, made around 1920 probably. Originally made as an apprentice piece probably, to store wood working tools while showing off the craftsman's skills. It has the remnants of its original thick protective paint as well as various other finishes in a reddish hue but very worn. Metal handles on the ends. The top has little or no paint on it so we gave it a quick sand and oiled it to colour it a bit and generally seal it. Dimensions: 92cm x 58cm x 54cm high
