This is a super quality early 20th century Paris Porcelain table lamp of really great scale in the Chinese Qialong style. The handsome lamp is in the finest porcelain and has a delightful lidded urn shape.
The body of the piece has elegant entwined flower designs with birds in foliage in hand applied white enamel.
This has a good quality gilt metal stand in the Chinese taste with blind fret detail raised on an ebonised wood base. This takes three standard single large bayonet bulbs
The lamp is substantial in size so makes a good impression in any room at 86 cms in height including the shade. It is 15 cms square at the base.
The lamp has been fully rewired with gold cable and is photographed here with a new Graham and Green 40 cm pleated shade which is available to purchase separately at cost. (£65) (40 cms in diameter)
(Also available in blue). Also shown with a French Ivory pleated shade (£40 extra)
The price here is for the lamp only.
We also have a great pair of these listed in a similar style and size as well as another good single lamp with a single light bulb capacity, please check out our other items.
