This is a super quality early 20th century Paris Porcelain table lamp of really great scale in the Chinese Qialong style. The handsome lamp is in the finest porcelain with hand gilded relief trellis detail to the square base and flower designs to the neck of the lamp.
The body of the piece has an elegant entwined flower design in hand applied white enamel.
This has a good quality gilt metal base elevated on cast hairy paw feet. This takes a standard single large bayonet bulb.
The lamp is substantial in size so makes a good impression in any room at 88 cms in height including the shade. It is 16 cms square at the base.
The lamp has been fully rewired with gold cable and is photographed here with a new Graham and Green 40 cm pleated shade which is available to purchase separately at cost. (£65) (40 cms in diameter.
(Also available in blue) Also shown with a French Ivory pleated silk shade (£40 extra)
