Large Victorian Walnut & Inlaid Jewellery Box

This is a good large 19th Century (c.1870) Victorian antique walnut jewellery box, the domed top and front inlaid with wide geometric marquetry bands. the top with central vacant brass cartouche surrounded with further inlay, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon. The box has been re-lined in a plush red velvet to match the original buttoned satin lid lining, the lift-out tray revealing a further storage area beneath. It has a working lock and tassled key.
