Description
This is a late Victorian antique mahogany and inlaid bureau bookcase. It has a shaped pediment with oval fan inlay moulded cornice with satinwood banded inlay and oval fan inlay. It has a pair of astragal glazed doors with satinwood banding. It has a working lock and key. It stands on 4 bracket shaped feet. It was recently polished.
Open to Reveal:- Adjustable 2 shelf interior, bureau, 3 drawer base with satinwood banded inlay & centre shell inlay on fall. It a working lock and key open to reveal: Pigeon hole and 2 drawer interior, 3 drawer base with oak linings satinwood banded inlay on fronts. It has brass locks stamped 'vr' makers to her majesty the Queen.
This is a good quality Bookcase
