Louis XV Style Marquetry Desk - 19th Century

Superb 19th-century Louis XV style writing desk in rosewood and walnut veneer. This good-quality desk has an unusual length of 1.32 metres, the ideal size for a workspace without being too large. It features a double-sided decoration, a moulded bronze top, and a veneered edge. The desk is decorated with fine, good-quality bronze mounts. The desk is topped with a leather. It has three drawers without crossbars and cabriole legs ending in bronze sabots. The drawers have their working keys. It has been hand polished in our workshops and has a superb patina. In magnificent condition. Restorations of age and use.
