Lovely 18th Century Shell Back Silver Table Spoon

A good silver serving or tablespoon from the reign of King George II. This good example is in Hanoverian pattern and has the original owner's 'pricked initial's 'E A' to the reverse of the shank. This handsome piece has a shell to the reverse of the bowl and is a superb collector's item. Early silver tableware is always in demand and becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly early to mid 18th Century examples. Maker:- William Turner.
